There are two official languages in Canada; English and French. We will visit the largest French speaking city in the world after Paris (Montreal) and the only walled city in North America (Quebec City) which has a distinguished European look and feel. The Pinery Market has been a Sunday destination for over 50 years. Located in Grand Bend, a small beach town on Lake Huron, this large market truly has something for everyone!
The Market originated as a very small collection of antique vendors in 1960’s. In those days, vendors displayed their wares on the ground in the blazing sun. Now, over 50 years later, the market has beautiful mature oak trees that create a shaded park. A perfect setting to shop, eat and relax while listening to live entertainment in our licensed area at Tuck’s Gas Bar.
Today, the Sunday Market houses the traditional flea market, as well as unique, handcrafted vendors, food vendors, and a farmers market.
