Today we depart Essex County area and journey to New York City, “The Big Apple”. We arrive in the late afternoon and check into our New Jersey hotel for the next two evenings. After check in we enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at our hotel. Balance of the evening is free time to rest up for fun filled jammed packed days of touring. (D)

Following breakfast, we meet our local guide in Manhattan and board our coach for a tour of the city. This morning we will
see Central Park, Columbia University, Harlem, the Museum Mile, Times Square, Fifth Avenue and the lower
East Side. We stop for a delicious lunch at the World Famous Katz’s Deli. This afternoon we continue our
touring and make a stop at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. We return to our hotel. Tonight you are free to
enjoy dinner at the hotel on your own. (B, L)
May 1, 2024
After breakfast, we check out and  board the coach for Battery Park where we board our ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty
and Ellis Island. Our bus will meet us following our visit at Liberty Island in New Jersey. We board our coach
and make our way to Washington, DC, the Nation’s Capital. We check into our hotel located in Alexandria,
VA located just outside of Washington where we will spend the next two evenings. Dinner is served at McNamara’s Irish

May 2, 2024
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. We meet our local guide this morning for a guided tour of
Washington, DC that will include the Monuments, the White House, the Capital, Georgetown and Smithsonian
Museums. Free time to explore the Smithsonian Museums that include the American Art Museum, the Air
and Space Museum, Natural History Museum and much more. Lunch is on your own at the museums or the
many food trucks. We conclude our day with at visit the Arlington National Cemetery for a guided tour and
visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Dinner this evening is served at Tony & Joe’s Restaurant followed
by a drive by the Monuments at Night. (B,D)

Wednesday, October 25, Depart Essex/Windsor  8:00 am with stops at En-route for washroom break. Stop at Niagara Gateway Information Center Grimsby for lunch on your own at the food court.  Arrive 1:30 pm Niagara on the Lake for tour and tasting at Konzelmann Estate Winery. Tasting experience and time to shop at their retail stores. Join us in a private tasting room for a 45 minute tasting experience of 3 Konzelmann VQA wines. Tasting of 3 wines and a mini charcuterie board to share. Depart Konzelmann Estate Winery at  3:00 pm and drive to downtown Niagara on the Lake to browse and shop their quaint and beautiful downtown stores. Depart 5 pm for our overnight accommodations at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn.  located just one and one quarter miles from the brink of Niagara Falls and offers a host of amenities and services including Niagara’s only and most authentic Irish Pub – Doc Magilligan’s. Hotel amenities include an indoor heated pool, two hot tubs, and a tropical indoor courtyard. Thursday, October 26- A full Canadian Breakfast is included this morning at our hotel. After breakfast we are back on the bus and depart the Best Western Lamplighter Inn for the Butterfly Conservatory at 10:00 am,  admission is included.  Make your way through 180 meters of meandering pathways surrounded by towering tropical plants and gorgeous blooms. This tropical oasis is yours to explore! You’ll find feeding trays where butterflies gather for an up-close look, specially curated blooms that attract these fascinating creatures, and a picturesque waterfall creating a virtual rain forest atmosphere. Depart the Butterfly Conservatory at 12 noon and travel to the Table Rock House Restaurant for a reserved 12:30 pm included group lunch. The Rock House Restaurant really is the closest you can dine to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Perched on the brink with the breathtaking Niagara Falls as your backdrop. Start the Christmas festive season off right with a trip to Frankenmuth, MI. Our first stop will be at Bronner’s the famous Christmas store for some time to browse and shop their amazing decor. Next we will go to the Bavarian Inn and enjoy one of their famous chicken lunches which includes all the trimmings. After lunch you will have time to browse the quaint shops and stores located in Frankenmuth.  At approximately 2:30 pm we will get back on the bus and drive to the Great Lakes Outlet Mall where you will have until 6:00  pm to do some Christmas shopping in the Mall’s more than 175 stores. This will be a fun day to spend with family and friends and enjoy all the spirit of the Christmas season.
