Depart Windsor/Essex early am with a 4:00 p.m. Arrive at Kingston’s Waterfront Holiday Inn, located close to the heritage precinct and vibrant downtown core. The hotel offers panoramic vistas of Lake
Ontario and distant Wolfe Island. Our company representative will welcome you
and assist with check in. 5:30 p.m. Dinner at the hotel
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2024
Breakfast on your own for those who want something before brunch.
9:45 a.m. Check out of the hotel. At 10:00 a.m we board our brunch criuse for a relaxing tour through the beautiful Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River. (1000 Islands Cruises.) The cruise will end at 1:30 p.m and we will depart for Montreal. A late afternoon arrival at our accommodation in Montreal, the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel. Located near the boardwalk, LeCentre Sheraton Montreal Hotel is in Downtown Montreal, a walkable area in Montreal with good shopping. A tour representative will assist our group with check-in and tell them
how to get to the restaurant. 6:00 p.m. Dinner is on your own this evening.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2024
A early full buffet breakfast is included at the hotel. Depart directly after breakfast for the Eastern Townships (approximately 1 ¼ hours from Montreal) for the Three Pines Tour!
Meet your Three Pines Tour Raconteur in Knowlton. Our day will start with a 9:00 am visit of the museum for a touch of ‘Still Life’, at 10:00 we will continue our tour and visit of the bookstore where we will partake in a little quiz. Prizes to be won. Have your thinking caps on! We will depart the bookstore at 10:30 for the Abbey with arrival at 11:15 for a guided visit of the Abbey ‘Saint-Gilbert-Entre-Les-Loups’, Inspiration for ‘A
Beautiful Mystery’ with a visit of the boutique with their award-winning cheeses. Our tour will end at 12 pm. We will leave directly after the tour for Montreal. We will make a brief stop to pickup the included boxed lunch for the ride home. Arrival back in Montreal to meet our step on guide at 3:00 p.m at Dorchester Square for a 2 to 2.5 Hour City Tour of Montreal. You will see: St. Catharine Street, St. Helen Island, Mount Royal, St. Joseph’s Oratory, the Old Port, Place Jacques Cartier and much more. The tour will me a mix of on the bus touring and walking so please make sure to have good walking shoes and appropriate apparel for the day as we will not return back to the hotel until after the tour. We will arrive back at the hotel approximately 5:30 pm so we can freshen up for dinner. Included this evening is a farewell dinner where will have a 3-course dinner at restaurant Vieux Port in Old Montreal.
