Today we journey to Kingston, Ontario. Lunch will be on your own along the journey as we will arrive in the
early afternoon following lunch. We meet a local guide for a tour of Kingston neighborhoods and the
waterfront. We check into our hotel for the evening. This evening we board 1000 Island Cruises for a
wonderful 2.5 Hour dinner cruise through the beautiful 1000 Islands. (Dinner Cruise)
Monday, August 19, 2024
Following breakfast, we start our journey to the Adirondack Mountains and the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.
We arrive in time for you to enjoy lunch and shopping on you own in the village. Following lunch we will meet
our local guide who will take us on a tour of the area to include the Olympic Venues and end with a visit to the
Olympic Museum and Ice Arena. We check into our overnight accommodations. Dinner is included at a local
restaurant or the hotel. (B,D)
Tuesday, August 20, 2024
Breakfast is included this morning. Today we make our way through the mountains along the Fulton Chain of
Lakes to the mountain resort town of Old Forge. Along our journey we make a stop at the Adirondack
Museum Experience on Blue Mountain Lake for a self guided tour. We continue to Old Forge for lunch and
shopping. We begin our journey to Canandaigua stopping one final time today at the Erie Canal Museum and
arrive in the early evening Lake Canandaigua, NY. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Wednesday, August 21, 2024
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. This morning we travel to the Sonnenburg Mansion and
Gardens for a docent led visit. Visit the beautiful 40 Room Mansion and spectacular gardens. Next we travel
to downtown for lunch on your own. This afternoon we enjoy a scenic cruise on the Canandaigua Lady and
conclude our day with a visit to a popular local winery. Dinner this evening is served at the NY Kitchen on Lake
Canandaigua. (B,D)
Thursday, August 22, 2024
Breakfast is included before saying good-bye to Upstate New York. We travel home with many fond
