WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2022
6:00a.m. Depart Windsor/Essex County (Essex Car Park, # 3 Highway/Windsor Car Park, Howard Avenue) with stops for breaks and lunch along our drive to Montreal. We will arrive at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Montreal late afternoon. This beautiful hotel is located in the very heart of the new and vibrant Entertainment District. The hotel is within walking distance to trendy restaurants, shopping, museums, Sherbrooke Street and Mount Royal. We will be met by a representative Step-On Guide (Montreal) to assist us with check in. The balance of the evening is free for dinner and relaxing.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2022
8:00 a.m. A full breakfast is included in your stay today at the Delta Hotel. We will depart
. from the hotel at 9:00 am for a 3 hour city tour of Montreal with our Step On Guide. See Place Ville-Marie (where the Underground city began), admission to Notre Dame Cathedral in Old Montreal is included, Olympic Stadium, Mount Royal and St. Joseph’s Shrine. At 10:00 am we will visit Notre Dame Basilica.
At approximately noon we will return to the hotel where our guide will leave us. You are now have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy some brief shopping before departing for Quebec City. We will then depart for Quebec City around 2 pm with arrival around 5:00 pm. Our accommodations are at The Hotel Palace Royal. This luxurious property is located 100 yards from the Old Walled City of Quebec. Our tour representative Step-On Guide will meet our group and assist with hotel check in. After check in you are free to explore this amazing city and to have dinner on your own.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2022
7:00 a.m. A full breakfast is included in your stay at our hotel. After breakfast our guide will meet us at the hotel for a full day tour of the Island of Orleans and Old Quebec City. Our first stop will be at the Chocolatier d I’ile d’Orelaens; located in the Old Saint-Francois Presbytery, there is coffee, tea, ice cream, cold drinks and lots of gourmet chocolates to choose from! We will then continue on to visit the historic St. Pierre Church. This is the oldest church on the Island of Orleans. We will continue on with a stop at Ste. Famille Lookout Point. This is the most northern tip of the island where salt water touches the island at high tide. We have a 12:30 pm lunch included today at Moulin St.Laurent. You will have your choice of Smoked Salmon, Quiche or Crepe. Each meal also includes a dessert and tea or coffee. After lunch we will have a guided visit of Cassis Monna Wine Cellar and Boutique. There is a wine sampling included with our visit. After our visit to Cassis Monna we will have a guided tour of Quebec City. We will return to our hotel around 5:30 pm where we will have a farewell dinner included and the balance of the evening will be yours to explore this beautiful city.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2022
7:00 a.m. A full breakfast is included this morning before our departure home. We will check out of our hotel and depart for home by 8:30 am. There will be restroom stops along with a lunch stop with our arrival back to Essex and Windsor approximately 7 to 8 pm depending on traffic.
