Wednesday, October 25, Depart Essex/Windsor 8:00 am with stops at En-route for washroom break. Stop at Niagara Gateway Information Center Grimsby for lunch on your own at the food court. Arrive 1:30 pm Niagara on the Lake for tour and tasting at Konzelmann Estate Winery. Tasting experience and time to shop at their retail stores. Join us in a private tasting room for a 45 minute tasting experience of 3 Konzelmann VQA wines. Tasting of 3 wines and a mini charcuterie board to share. Depart Konzelmann Estate Winery at 3:00 pm and drive to downtown Niagara on the Lake to browse and shop their quaint and beautiful downtown stores. Depart 5 pm for our overnight accommodations at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn. located just one and one quarter miles from the brink of Niagara Falls and offers a host of amenities and services including Niagara’s only and most authentic Irish Pub – Doc Magilligan’s. Hotel amenities include an indoor heated pool, two hot tubs, and a tropical indoor courtyard. The Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel is less than two miles from many local attractions such as the Horseshoe Falls, Marineland and Niagara’s Casinos. Niagara Falls WEGO transportation system is just outside the front door and operates all year long, for a convenient way to get to the Falls (nominal fee applies). Dinner is on your own this evening.
Thursday, October 26- A full Canadian Breakfast is included this morning at our hotel. After breakfast we are back on the bus and depart the Best Western Lamplighter Inn for the Butterfly Conservatory at 10:00 am, admission is included. Make your way through 180 meters of meandering pathways surrounded by towering tropical plants and gorgeous blooms. This tropical oasis is yours to explore! You’ll find feeding trays where butterflies gather for an up-close look, specially curated blooms that attract these fascinating creatures, and a picturesque waterfall creating a virtual rain forest atmosphere. Depart the Butterfly Conservatory at 12 noon and travel to the Table Rock House Restaurant for a reserved 12:30 pm included group lunch. The Rock House Restaurant really is the closest you can dine to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Perched on the brink with the breathtaking Niagara Falls as your backdrop. Lunch will be a choice of a Bacon Cheese Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Veggie Burger. All choices include french fries and regular fountain drinks. After lunch you will have free time to view the falls or visit some of the local attractions or shop at the many retail stores. Depart Niagara Falls at 3:30 pm for home with a stop along the way for a quick washroom break and grab a quick bite to go. Arrival Windsor/Essex at 7:30 pm (approx).
