Positioned in the rolling hills between two of the America’s best cities – New York and Boston – the Berkshires area plays out the best of two worlds. It will satisfy your yearning for the quiet, scenic countryside, yet also provide a treasure of culture and art.

Berkshire County is internationally renowned for its natural beauty, rich history, and picturesque New England towns.

September 28– We will travel to the The Turning Stone Resort and Casino located in Verona, NY. We overnight at the resort hotel. We will receive a gaming and meal package upon arrival.
September 29-Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel before departure. Today we continue our journey to the Berkshires of Massachusetts. We travel to Lenox, MA where we arrive at The Mount, Home of Edith Wharton. The home of the noted author has been a National Historic Landmark since 1971. We will enjoy a delicious sandwich buffet on the porch upon our arrival. Following lunch you will have time to tour the home and gardens of this beautiful place. Enjoy some free time in Lenox, MA for a little browsing. We check into our hotel for the next two evenings. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (B,D)
September 30-Breakfast is included at the hotel. This morning we travel to the Norman Rockwell Museum, home to the largest collection of original Rockwell Art and Memorabilia in the United States. Next we visit the Berkshire Botanical Gardens. The Berkshire Botanical Garden, is a 24-acre botanical garden in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, United States. Its collections contain over 3,000 species and varieties, with an emphasis on plants that thrive in the Berkshires. Enjoy lunch and shopping on your own in charming town of  Stockbridge. This afternoon we visit Arrowhead. Arrowhead, also known as the Herman Melville House, is a historic house museum in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It was the home of American author Herman Melville during his most productive years, 1850–1863. We conclude our day with a visit to the Hilltop Orchards for a tour and tasting of Craft Ciders and Wines. Another marvelous dinner is served at a local restaurant.
October 1-Breakfast is included at our hotel before departure. This morning we begin our journey home making a stop in Albany, NY where we will enjoy a 90 Minute narrated cruise on the Hudson River. We continue home making our overnight at the Turning Stone Resort again. Gaming and meal voucher included. (B)
October 2-Breakfast is included before our departure. Continue home with many fond memories of our time in The Berkshires of Massachusetts. (B)
